Trying to get hot air to work on my 90 GT

Trying to get hot air from heater and only cold air blows what should i do. Any help would be great.

Well, the obvious question is... Is the heater core good?

Are all hoses routed correctly?

has the heater core been bypassed?

Usually when this happens the heater core needs backflushed. They get clogged full of junk.

well i put in a new 190 stat and the hoses are run right/ not by bassed. it will blow luke warm air on low setting and thats it. how would i go about back flushing it?

Take the hoses off and use a water hose that you can hose clamp onto the heater core line. Flush it out backwards. There maybe other ways but thats how I would do it in a pinch.
