Hi all,
I'm replacing my stock intake manifold on my 89 5.0 LX with an awesome tubular intake a friend hooked me up with. Being a you tube mechanic, I am a little confused about the hose set up for the upper manifold.I looked around a bit but couldn't seem to find a set up like this one. Based on some of the stock diagrams I saw, the top right outlet should go to pcv. the top left valve should wrap around to middle left (the one with the rubber cap on it). Middle right valve should be where the vacuum tree comes out (where are the extra connections going to go?). the bottom right is capped off (from what I could find that's ok) and the bottom left has a plug in it and should be going to the carbon canister (this could be capped as well?). Could anyone help me out here? Thanks in advance.

It's not how many vacuum sources that you have that is important, but what you connect to them.
In EFI engines vacuum is the same wherever you tap into it; there are no high or low vacuum connections.

Thanks for the response. The info was great and I was able to sort out the hose connections. I have the manifold on and the car is running!
