Im thinking about getting a Tubular K-Member. Its going into my 88 GT convert. Any brand that you guys you sugguest? Im I going to have any problems with it on the street? And would lake woods 70/30 bolt up the coil overs? I plan am taking it to the track every now and then! Thanks
 
I have the GMS unit, it's more of a road race unit but it's real solid, and expensive. If your drag racing there are advantages to units that move the front wheels forward. Mine does that and has two slots so you can move the motor back as well. I am assuming your running a drag setup so big front wheels probally arn't in your wheelwells so that won't be an issue, but if you had some 17-18" front wheels the wheel being moved forward could be an issue.
 
I would like to tag on this topic to ask a question. Can you remove the oil pan with these or do I need the unit that has the removable center. I can not find the unit with the removable center. Any idea. And like the topic starter which ones are for daily use. I am not worried about weight but room and ease of working on the car.
