can anyone post what a manual says about tune up intervals? stuff like oils, filters, radiator flushes, spark plugs, wires etc
I bought my car without a manual in it and I have over 40K miles on it.
every 250miles or weekly whichever comes first- check engine oil level,coolant level,windshield wash fluid,brake fluid level, tires&tire pressure.
every 3,000 mi.or 3 mos.whichever comes first- ck. power steering fluid,ck.auto tran. fluid,change engine oil&filter.
every 6,000 mi. or 6 mos.whichever comes first-ck.& service battery,inspect and/or replace winshield wipers if necessary,rotate tires,inspect exhaust system,check seat belt operation.
every 15,000 or 24 mos.whichever comes first-inspect and/or replace all underhood hoses if necessary,inspect cooling system,check fuel system,replace the fuel filter,inspect steering and suspension components,inspect the brakes.
every 30,000miles or 24 mos.whichever comes first-replace air filter,service cooling system drain flush and refill change auto trans. fluid, change brake fluid.
every 60,000 mi. or 48 mos.whichever comes first-check and/or replace drive belts,check pcv valve replace if necessary,replace sparkplugs,inspect and replace if necessary ignition system components.
