Hi guys I need to know exactly what i need, and how MUCH its going to COST to preform a full tune up for my 1997 mustang, its used and i bought it from a dealer so I dont know the history of what services were done, so i plan on changing my spark plugs, fuel filter, change my oil and other basic stuff. The car is at 75000 miles what else do you guys suggest the car runs fine but it started to idle a little ruff this past week and the brakes and steering dont really feel normal. Anything would be helpfull please try to respond I want to start as soon as possible.

I read about Seafoam. Cleans your entire intake system and is injected into your intake through a pre-existing vaccum hose. do a search on that and see what you get. I am about to do a tune up myself.
IF you want an immediate answer, USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION. i got all the info i needed about tune ups, what i need to do, what types of spark plugs, how to change tranny/diff/radiator fluid, how to flush your radiator, what types of filters to use, blah blah blah. USE SEARCH FIRST! you will save alot of time.

At that mileage, I would change the following:

Spark Plugs
Fuel filter
Air filter(or clean it if its a rechargeable unit)
Spark Plug wires(I know the 96-98 GT's still used "wires" and not "coils")
Front o2 sensors
Coolant
Transmission fluid
Rear differential fluid
Oil change(if needed)
Clean the intake system as said above
Check the brake pads, brake fluid, and power steering fluid.

If I missed something, someone please let us know.

-dont people reccomend to replace your pcv valve when replacing the fuel filter?
-Been told not to use gear oil when changing tranny fluid. use synthetic ATF. CHECK ON THIS THO. I dont know what tranny you have. I have a T-45
-again, flush radiator. they have a kit at walmart for like 10 bucks or something. has pieces to flush your cooling system and the block with only a garden hose.
-Other than that, i think thats it.
