See my mods list at bottom signature

Here is my question: I very much want to get a throttle body/plenum but funds are always an issue and I only have enough money right now to either get a tb/plenum or a chip/tuner. I definately need a tune to get my car to run optimum with my mods and to correct the speedo. If I get a tuner can I use it again after I get the throttle body/plenum or is it a one time deal? Should I wait to get the tuner or chip after I get the tb/plenum? Should I get a tuner or a chip?

Thank You

Most like to go with the Diablo predator tuner, which with any tuner yes, you can use it again. I myself went with the superchip, just a personal preference I guess. It does not have the tuning abilities of a predator tuner, but it gives you 10% gains on a gas engine. Personally, I installed my TB/Plenum before the chip, but again I do not think it matters.

id go with the tb/plenum before.

i installed the tune that came with the diablo before i did tb/plenum, and i really didnt feel a difference with the tune, but the tb/plenum made some nice numbers on my butt dyno.

then again, i havent had a chance to play around with their tune and see what i can due spark and fuel wise, so the above statement may change once i get back to what im good at.

I am always tweeking my Diablo Predator tuner for the best performance. I have have just removed the tune for winter driving. I am getting way to much torque and will have a hard time in the snow. But anyway I pulled .9's off my 1/4 mile last week with only the Diablo tuner change.
