My car is in the shop right now getting dyno tuned. It hasnt rained here for like a year, and today its raining with 90% humidity and in the 70's. I dont know much about tuning, but can weather affect your tune? Is it bad to get tuned when its 90% humidity outside?

yes, weather affects your tune. but in your case, the tune will be a little safer this way. there's nothing to worry about.

Not if it is tuned right. Back when people used the fuel multiplier functions it would cause problems in weather changes. If it is tuned using the MAF curve the tune will adapt to the weather.

i'm thinking more in terms of max timing. if they were to push the timing, they'd get away with more when it's 60 degrees with no humidity than 80 degrees with 80% humidity. sometimes people get a little too agressive tuning on a cold day, then the customer gets knocking on a hot day.

If it the tune was borderline it may have a some impact, but timing adjust itself based on Air charge temp, as well as several other things. So a safe tune should not be a problem.
