Hi there,

I was wondering if there is a way to switch the Mach 460 head unit in a 02 GT so that it can tune to the even radio stations, like 98.2, 100.8 or 92.4 as well as the odd stations. I am planning on exporting the car to the UK and here the radio stations are on even and odd channels.

Thanks,
sport_160.

I've never had a problem tuning my stock Mach 460 radio to stations. If it is acting up, I'd say throw out a $100-150 bones and buy a new head unit. I have an alpine in mine at the moment and I didn't bypass any amplifiers and I still use the same speakers as well. Just food for thought.

Not sure if they have across the pond but SIRIUS is awesome. Worth the $$ imo.

It's not acting up. The head unit in the Mustang only tunes to odd radio station channels, ie 94.1 94.3 94.5 94.7 and so on. But in the UK, radios tune to every channel, ie 94.1 94.2 94.3 94.4 and so on. I happy with the head unit as it is, but woud just like to be able to tune into 94.2 FM when I am in the UK. I have seen some stereos before that have had a switch on the back to allow all channels or just the odd ones. Just wondering if the Ford head unit can be switched.

I bet it can't be done. Maybe ford sells a euro version?

Don't know sound systems that well, but doesn't the headunit tune to any station it picks up a signal from?
