I have a tweecer to tune the computer in my 97 GT and I am interested in making the car more fun and getting better mileage. So far, I have added 5* of timing across the board (as a timing adjuster would), increased the rev limit and set the AFs for a nice 13:1 AF ratio. Those changes may help mileage *slightly* but are obviously for power.

What other changes can I make for fuel mileage?

One thing that bothers me is the 'hanging' idle and the fact that it idles at 1100 rpm when I'm moving in neutral instead of settling to 650. Seems like I could improve mileage by brining the idle speeds down faster. Does anyone know the address or name of these functions?

play with the dashpot settings to adjust the speed the idle falls , be careful though if it falls too fast it may cause it to stall , and do you have a good steady 14.7 air/fuel at idle and cruise ?

The idle and cruise air fuel ratios are great because it is in closed loop. I'll play with the idle decay tomorrow I guess.

There is a pretty big learning curve with the tweecer and I'm finding that I don't have access to quiet a few variables that I have seen on other forums. I guess I should fork out the money for binary editor instead of being cheap and using caledit.
