Turbulance?

I think many of you are already aware of the how the wind can affect the steering. I was just wondering if it was because of the mustangs design? Is there anything to reduce this effect?

I htink it might be. When I'm driving into a head wind on the highway the car feels virtually uncontrollable...it's scary. I also have manual steering if that would have anyhting to do with it. Even on a non windy day or with a tail wind, excess speeds (80+) scare me, which is why I've never gone over 100 in my stang.

I have power steering and I had my cars wheels aligned not to long ago, still jerks around with the wind. Also combined with the horrible I-10 highway here in southern CA, I feel as if people think im a really bad driver from my car weaving around( when its windy)

[2nd Mustang]

While driving on the previously crappy 60 Fwy, my 67 coupe would zig and zag through the uneven parts of the highway. I noticed it was getting progressively worst over the course of several weeks. I checked my front wheels and they were kind of loose on the spindles. Repacked and retorqued the front bearings and that took care of that problem. There was a little slop in them.
