turn signals/Question, strange

Hi - hope yall had a good Christmas, I've got a question, hoping someone has some ideas.

My car since I've had it the turn signals don't work, now the 4-way flashers do work, but the turn signlas do nothing when turned on. (So this kinda eliminates it being a flasher) but I did put a new flasher in it just in case.

I've checked all the fuses in the car, and nothing. Any thoughts?

I'm hoping it's NOT the switch in the column!

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like what you're fearing, the switch is probably bad. It happened to mine right after I bought it and mine had only 9300 miles on it.

did you put in your own new switch or have the delaer do it? (I'm curious of the difficulty level) I'm still missing some skin from the H-pipe install over the weekend

I'm having the same problem with my 97 GT. The only thing I can see as being the source of the problem is the switch, which sucks but is definitely fixable. Look in a Haynes manual or some other repair manual, they should have a 'how to' section.

Well, my decision was easy, it was under warranty so the dealer did it. I don't think it's too hard. They had it done in a matter of less than an hour.
