Turn the Crank

can anyone tell me how to manually turn the crank of my 289 engine. details would be nice.

Find the size of the bolt that holds on the harmonic balancer. Then take that socket and a socket wrench, put the socket on bolt, and turn it. It helps to pull the plugs out so there is no compression, but either way works.

which way do u turn the wrench and what plugs do u refer to?

spark plugs. clockwise.
