alright guys. this is a 1985.5 Tbird TurboCoupe engine in my 1993 LX with an LA3 com. well my neighbor came over and we tied up the loose ends and put some gas in it along with oil, water, and power steering fluid. just essentials to see if it would start. well we got the fire extinguisher handy just in case. well tony(neighbor) told me to turn it to the on position and not start to make sure the fuel pump was cycling and all those good things. i turn it to the on position and all of a sudden smoke comes out from i believe near the alternator or somewhere near there. i immediatly turned it off. i know this is vague but i had to stop for tonight due to cold and light. if anybody can point me in a direction i would be most appreciative.
