I did it by hand. It's a 2 step process. I used microfiber towels to take it off both times. Takes a LOT of towels because all 3 products in the box are black. Including washing and drying, it took about 4 hours. It was easier than I thought since I'm new to this waxing thing. Just time consuming.

it looks awesome. very very reflective. black is the toughest and your car looks like a mirror. is that the factory paint? were there any swirls before you started? the only thing you done was wash it and use the contents of the black box, right?

Another vote for the Black Box kit. I used it on my X3. The PreWax stuff fills in swirls and chips really well. The car has never looked so good. All the little white nicks in the paint are gone. If you have a black car you need to try this!

The only downside is that its messy. You get the black crap all over your hands, and I dont know if I want to wash the towels or applicator in my laundry machine with all that black gunk on them...

Damn the stuff works though. Just need a True Blue box for the stang...

I snuck and washed my towels when the wife wasn't looking. It all came out and the washer is fine. Just don't do a load of whites right after that.

I threw the applicators away though. They were saturated.

Nah sorry. It was last weekend and I didnt snap any. Next time I use i'll get some for sure. This stuff is a no-brainer for black cars.

I always swore I'd never buy another black car because I hate trying to get the paint to look good, but this stuff has completely changed my mind. I'm shopping for a blue or black car now.
Its so easy to use, and that black pre-wax stuff is just awesome. Once its on there you can use any wax you like over the top. I imagine as long as you keep it buried in wax it will stay there.
