Are there any good books or tutorials about the step by step process of building a 331 or 347 stroker? I would like to do it myself so it is my ass if I screw up, plus it will be a great learning experience. Thanks.
I don't think there's any book that will lead you step by step. Just find yourself a good combo, an engine rebuild handbook, a Chiltons, and the search function on this forum and others like Corral. I had never built or rebuilt and engine before, and I was successfully able to build a 408 using those resources. I was also lucky enough to find a SBF expert who put my combo together and whom I could call with questions. Just be sure to do a lot of research before you start putting things together. good luck.
