OK, here is the deal. I get 18ish MPG in my commute (96 miles a day). And I have to run premium since I did the ghetto EGR delete to turn off the CE light. The car runs RICH...

My bud just got a tweecer and he is doing pretty good with it. So what kind of MPG improvements could I expect with my mods if I tuned for MPG? Then I could also have a program set for power flag: )... This could also let me run 87 octane again too right? Seems that with the miles I do the tweecer could pay for itself very quickly.

Thanks Guys!!!

Interesting.

My initial thought is, why did you delete the EGR? It plays a role in maintaining a decent MPG.

My EGR had 2 issues, vac leak and is getting no vac signal from wherever it is supposed to get that.

THen to top it off the EGR tube broke when I did my headers so rather than spend $100+ on an EGR and buy a new tube I tricked the computer into thinking it is stuck partially open to get rid of the CE light.

You do realize the tweecer doesn't burn the settings into the computer. It only modifies them coming out. So if you tune your car and then remove the tweecer, all your modifications are gone.

Try their site again later on Therian - the site goes down a couple times a day with that message.
