Got the twEECer installed, but when I went to start up the stang, it wouldn't run at all. It died as soon as I started it, and the only way to keep it running was to hit the gas. Check engine light was on as well. Any ideas?

Oh yea, I tried clicking read read tweecer and it said comm fail. With the car off, it reads it fine.

Woa, I clicked read EEC, and it came up with some BIZARRE values. Like a 14,000 idle speed, 64 O2 sensors, 28lb injectors, and with the maf curve, every point is 4.0156v, reading 5170hg/hr air, lol. WTF??

You have to have the Tweecer on position 5 (all the way to the right) That will keep the computer at its stock stock settings.

Let us know.

Nope, it's in position 1, and it ran okay before the twEECer, not it won't run at all.

Before you run the car again load the default settings you can get the default cobra tune from the tweecer website. Hit write to tweecer on position 1. Then start the car and it should run right.

I didn't try it in position 5.

When I pulled the PCM back out, the tweecer was only half on. This was probably caused by pulling the PCM out, but I did notice a lot of crap on the circuit board where the tweecer connects again. I'm gonna try cleaning it again and go from there.

Then I might use the Cobra tune until I get it running then change some stuff around.

Like I said in the other post, select CBAZA strategy on the bottom before you do anything.

www.tweecer.com

It's an EEC tuner that plugs into the J3 port on your EEC. Then a usb cable runs from that to your desktop/laptop and it has software that allows you to reprogram the entire EEC. You can change stuff like fuel tables, spark tables, idle speeds, maf curves, injector slopes, fan temps, turn off egr, turn off smog, all kinds of stuff.

$380 plus shipping for a new base model
$550 plus shipping for a new RT model. (RT allows you to datalog information as you drive around)

Make sure your j3 port contacts are clean of the clear protective coating. You can lightly pull a razor blade accross the contacts to scape it off, but leave the solder in place. You can't run in position 1 unless you've loaded a tune. Download your car's stock tune while in position 5. Save it to position 1 and run. then run from pos1. When this works for you, you are ready to start tuning.

BTW; we sell the TwEECer RT to Stangnet members for $540 shipped.

A new 94-95 data file has been released, and it has an additional 60-65 parameters. A lot of the aode pararmters have been added.

You can request the new dat file from who you purchased your TwEECer from.

Yea, but this is a new strategy. I just downloaded it and it has a lot of new scalars in it as opposed to the old CBAZA strategy.

your car is not running because you have a tweaked bin file loaded for whatever combo the previous owner had. head over to the tweecer website and download either the t4m0 or j4j1 bin. if you choose the j4j1 and dont have 24's, you will need to change the injextor slopes. write either one to the tweecer and the car should run fine. as far as securing the tweecer to the j3 port, i used a couple pieces of electric tape. i had no rpoblems after that.
