This is a good used perfectly fine unit that I removed from my personal '99 Supercharged Explorer. It is more commonly used in the Ford Mustang, Thunderbird, F150, F250, and many many more vehicles. Super easy installation, it plugs right into your PCM/ECU and then you can read the file using the TwEECer software, and then you can modify it from there. You can modify about anything, engine, trans, fans, etc... You can download the latest software right from TwEECers website. It even comes with a scanner software, see their main site for more details.

I am offering no warranty, but it can be warrantied through the manufacturer, fees may apply.

In most situations it can ship the same day or next business day when payment is received and clears.

Contact TwEECer to ask about your specific application

Pronounced "Tweaker"

The TWEECERprovides you the POWER to modify and substitute a copy of the original EEC calibration to fit your performance modifications, just like the Professional Tuners.

The TWEECER was the first commercial product to provide a Real Time data stream along with tuning capabilities for EEC-IV supported processors, while also supporting EEC-V based vehicles.

The TWEECER will require some study time before diving in too deep. We have a yahoo group that has thousands of registered users, many of whom have been using our product since the beginning.

The TWEECER is an invaluable tool which provides you with near the same capabilities of a stand-alone system costing 2-4 times more, but without the hassle of complete harness removal and new sensors!

How does the TwEECer Work?

The Ford EEC contains a PROM (Programmable Read Only Memory) to permanently store the OEM calibration (the stock tune). The EEC-IV EPROM is difficult to re-write, though it is possible, it is not something that would be useful as a commercial product for our target market. The EEC-V (1996 to 2004) uses an EEPROM, which can be reasonably erased and re-written using the OBD-II standards.

The EEC has a card-edge interface connection at the rear of the unit called the Service (J3) port, where an external EEPROM can be connected. When connected to this port, the contents of theexternal EEPROM can be substituted for the internal (E)EPROM. This this is how the TwEECer and all other Chip Module makers, can make changes to the OEM calibration. The 1996 and newer vehicles can be re-flashed using a hand held programmer connected to the OBD-II interface. The TwEECer does not make use of the OBD-II port, we ONLY interface through the Service port. There is no Service port on Ford PCM's beginning in 2005, that is why TwEECer vehicle support ends with the 2004 year models.
