i have seen the typhoon intake around here and there, it looks like an eddy performer knock off but it looks like it is a pretty good deal. i was wondering if anybody was running it and if so what do you think as far as how it performs and its quality?

Not the Performer knock off, it's the RPM clone. The RPM or Typhoon is too much for stock heads, cam and such. Don't know what mods you have.

RC has one. It is just an Edelbrock Performer RPM knock off but it seems to work just as well. I have heard some hit-or-miss stories when it comes to the quality though....

What he said. I've heard a lot of stuff about the poor castings on the typhoon intakes thats why I went with my Eddy.

Is going with the RPM that bad on a stock motor. I think RC has stock heads and cam. He seems to not complain about it.

Hes also has a Vortech It wont be that bad on a stock motor, but it will kill your low end power You can always sell the upper and swap the 5.0 and RPM out

You can get them new from Summit for like $400 for both upper and lower. That is a great deal for what you get.

I kinda wish I went with the trick flow intake because its cheaper but everything else on my car is now trick flow The eddy looks better IMO.
