UFC 80
Anyone watch the PPV last weekend?
There were some great fights and some awesome KO's!!
It's one of the best PPV's I've seen in a long time!
BJ Penn worked over Joe daddy pretty good.
Gonzaga looked really bad. I expected a lot more from him. Werdum is going to get a tittle shot now I think.
Lambert getting KTFO was awesome!!
I was a little shocked that Jorge Rivera KO'd Kendall Grove so easy. I do believe that's two KO's in a row for Grove. I could be wrong though.
1/23/07 Fight night
These fights were very unimpressive. I would have been pretty upset if they were not on TV for free!
Mike Swick Vs. Josh Burkman was terrible. Definitely not the Swick we are used to seeing.
Patrick Cote Vs. Drew McFedries was a decent fight. Cote took a couple of good hard shots before KO'd McFedries. This was probably the best fight of the night.
Alvin Robinson Vs. Nate Diaz wasn't a bad fight. Diaz did a good job and looked pretty good against a guy that's supposed to be pretty tough.
UFC 81
I'm really excited to see Lesner Vs Mir. They have been hyping this fight a lot and Lesner is a huge man with a great wrestling background. I'm interested to see if it lives up to it's hype.
I would love to see Nogueira whip Sylvia. I'm hoping that to see Tim get worked again like he did with Randy!! Tim has been VERY unimpressive in all of he recent fights and I'd like to see him knocked back out of the HW title picture. Lets get some new blood in there!
We also get to see the return of Jeremy Horn. Should be a good fight with him and Marquardt.
Eastman and Marvin could be a pretty good showing. This could end in a great KO!!
Lytle and Emerson are both fighting on this card. I don't know if we'll get to see their fight or not but it will be interesting to see how they do. Some of those Tuff guys have turned out to be pretty decent fighters and some of them have flopped.
Who's watching 81 next weekend? What do you guys think of the fights?
