We have plenty of oil of our own. We export more than we import. Been that way for a few years now. Russian oil imports have all but stopped but before they were it accounted for only 7% of our total imports.

That's about to change.

EIA expects U.S. petroleum trade to shift toward net imports during 2022

Some interesting flights showing up on Flightradar24. You would think the US and UK reconnaissance would be hidden. Another note is Turkish Airlines is still flying into Moscow. Russian cargo plane headed across Belarus. I used to see that type in New Orleans all the time.

Ukraine can burn for all I care. If it takes Putin finding all of the files on Xiden Corruption INC. and exposing it to the world, I am all for it.
We still buy 400,000+ barrels of oil a day from Russia. Anything this administration says or MSM says is pure BS until that stops.
Russia taking over Ukraine will have no real impact on the USA, except for the war mongers and people who play the "what if" game.
Stop buying Russian oil.
Protect our own boarders.
Until those two things happen... Ukraine, Russia. It. Does. Not. Matter.

It was posted in another forum I follow that the majority of Palladium and Neon gas come from Russia and Ukraine. Chip production for everything is about to come grinding to a halt...

Where did I say that?
Did you miss the Russia part?
Using your own logic, I can say that you support the USA financing the Russian's (Putin) visa vie the purchase of over 400,000 barrel of oil a day from Russia.

I guess the first step is admitting that to one degree or another we are all "blind". It's nearly impossible to find something that you can 100% get behind as being the truth and nothing but the truth. There are a lot of things that I believe are the truth, but if really challenged I couldn't say I believed it with out a doubt. Take for example the video that went around the other day of a Russian tank running over a car with an elderly person in it. A guy that I work with was just talking about it and said that he watched a video were someone was claiming that the tank video happened well over a year ago and it was Ukrainian solders in the tank and they lost control. The Russian video was a propaganda hoax. OK.... Maybe it was. I asked him how certain he was that the source claiming it was a hoax was telling the truth. How can you be sure that this new information is the correct information? I'm not saying that this new information is wrong or that it was with out a doubt Russians running over cars. I don't know what to believe half the time. The only thing that I think I can say is 100% true is that us peasants are kept in the dark and feed at least 99% of the time.

Please quote me saying any of that. You can't.
You took out of context what I said to fit your own bias.
Sad.
Do you know what else is sad?
You support an American President financing the Russian war effort against Ukraine...

And we are back on oil from the Mid East and buying allies. What decade is this? Did we not learn before?
Why we are not largely or completely energy self sufficient (so the alternatives seem affordable and more practical) is a horrible tactical move. We should not be exporting oil either, except maybe to our neighbors to the immediate north and south.

. pressure to pump more crude to lower the price of oil that has surged since Russia attacked Ukraine,
I call BS on this cause the price of oil was going up before the attack.

Because of "Never Trump" and "Anyone but Trump" mentality among some American.
Fact: Joe made us energy dependent, again, his first week in office signing all of his "Never Trump" cancellation Exec. Orders.

That being said, I can't believe that crazy Ivan bombed a nuclear power plant this morning
