That is sorta weird. Clean cars in my area are around that price regardless of hp.

Looks like someone stopped caring for it at one point or another. I hate to say it, I doubt its legit, but I would check it out for the heck of it.

If the car is in Falmouth (Cape Cod - right on the shore line and prime target for many storms), then I'd be very careful about rust! Being in Mass, it also doesn't require a smog check (pre 96 car). So, who knows what the engine really runs like - likely idles like PURE CR*P with 60# injectors.

Seeing the car sitting on grass, and being on the Cape makes me want to say WTF????????? Wow, if the salt doesn't rust the living ****** out of everything, then the moisture from that nice wet ground in Falmouth will surely rust the ******* out of everything.

I'd be SUPER careful looking underneath and having the underbody painted, undercoated etc. I know people that would cover huge gaping holes underneath with sheetmetal held in by screws, and throw some undercoat over it. It often looks fine unless you have your nose right up against it.

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

That car is a pile. The top is likely torn to **** hence it's down. Id rather see pics of a convertible with the top up.

Yeah, yeah.....NO!!! The car is clearly sitting in weeds with partial pictures? And of all things, stickers under the hood, who does that?

Maybe it has 270,000 miles. Isn't it funny how often all these "expert" tuners on Craigslist leave out the most essential information when they're trying to sell their cars?

Plus, it's somebody else's project.

There is a catch, it's a pile. Sure someone can make it nice, it's still purple and beat down. Would make a good parts car if everything mentioned is true (find it hard to believe though).
