Hey guys.

I looking to replacing the under hood light with an led. I can't seem to find once. Anyone know which one can be used and post a pic of it?

Thanks

Do you know the bulb number?

I have an LED bulb on my 88 but Ford changed the underhood light around 1990 so my bulb number might be different

Thanks for the response. Mine is a 1990, and according the owners manual, it says it's a 906 bulb.

906 bulbs can cross-reference to other sizes: 916, 922, 921.

Your best bet is searching for an LeD bulb that you think you’d like in one of those sizes.

For example.
VehiCode 921 LED Bulb RV Interior White 912 922 906 194 T10 Wedge Base Dome Light Daylight 6000K Replacement Kit for Camper Trailer Cargo Marine T15 Car Reverse T5 Landscape Outdoor Lamp (10 Pack) Amazon product ASIN B09FL6Y3NBView: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09FL6Y3NB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_FSM28WXRM0E1JSC8W2V0

You might need to search around a bit for a style/color that you want

I have a 1991 and just replaced the standard 906 bulb with a 921 LED bulb by peak lighting which I purchased at ACE Hardware for 15 bucks. Expensive but for me it was a nice worthwhile swap. The bulb fits and works great.
Hopefully this helps anyone looking to swap their under hood bulb with an LED.

That's awesome. It looks like it brightens up the engine bay nicely. Thank you for your reply.
