Under the hood now - Help: A/C System Removal

I am typing this on my roof, so I am doing this mess right now.

I have the UPR A/C delete pulley thing installed. I had the system evac'ed prior to doing that. So, how the hell do I remove the hoses and condenser? I mean, I can certainly find a way to remove them but I would like to do so in the cleanest fashion. I still have the smog pump for now if that affects the steps any.

Need responses ASAP. I will be removing other random weight and fixing the adjustment on my clutch cable while I wait for a reply.

So remove radiator, remove condenser and evap, replace radiator, remove the black tank/accumulator at passenger side firewall?

Do I need to block off any lines that run somehow into the interior for the actual air flow to the car?

Nope. Those two "lines" are to the evaporator.

Alright, I ended up getting the clutch adjusted until all daylight was gone.

Since I don't have a fuel line disconnect kit, is there any other way to disconnect that type of hose/line? (especially if you have no plans on reusing it and it is going in the trash right after it comes out of the car)

I'll drop the crap from in front of the radiator first, then take a pic to confirm this one item needs to be removed too. (that black cylinder, passenger side firewall, lines/tubes running to it from A/C equip, big electronics sensor into the top of it)

i left mine in front of the raditor in, didnt want to pull it out... i took the back accumulator tank off and lines... all i did was cut the one that runs in front the motor to the one in front of the car...

Hacksaw or equivalent.

Accumulator. It can go.

I would be intrested in throwing you some money for most of those AC parts. Let me know thanks. :SNSign:

PuterAmI: Thanks. I figured a brute force (hacksaw) method would do just fine.

TrophyHead: Heh, sorry. The compressor is long trashed and I have been brutal with the hoses. Had you asked a LONG time ago, I would've been gentle with it and sold it to you for cheap. Oh well.

About to go out and finish the removal. Question: the sensor into the accumulator...just unplug it?

Awesome. I got the stupid crap out from in front of the radiator...so much more room for air to get to it to cool things off now. A hacksaw was perfect for getting through those pipes. Off to do the accumulator and to hide that sensor.

One last confirmation? Nothing needs to be plugged, correct? That is unless I am going for clean looks, nothing HAS to be blocked off?
