I live 15 minutes from work, and about 10-15 minutes from most places I drive to. Do you think underdrive pulleys will fail to charge up my battery?

I am only 8 miles from work and I haven't had any problems with the Steeda pulleys. Never notice any dim lights or anything like that and the battery guage is about the same as it was prior to installing them. I have noticed two times that as I turned the key off, the display flashed a message that said check charging system. I never noticed it before the pulleys but that doesn't mean it never happened. Anyone else ever see this?

When I put udp's on my ranger, I also installed a 200 amp alt. I have had no problems with the charging system. The main reason I did so was all the off/road lights and what have you on my truck. Point being, if it becomes a concern, just go with a larger output alt.

i have had UDPs for about a year without any problems. i live about 5 miles from work, and that is 95% of my driving right now-back and forth to work. we take the escape out if we need to run errands. i sit in the car and listen to the radio pretty often after the engine is turned off as well. still no issues.
