Well, it finally caught up with me...

Barely open windows in a fierce thunder storm.

The depressions in the doors were completely filled with water by the time I got to it.

I drove it home with the AC on to dry out the interior. Normal AC worked perfectly, as
well as Max AC.

The next day, when I tryed to
turn on Normal AC, I found that it was stuck in Bi-Level. Compressor still kicks in normally.

All other electrical systems work perfectly. It won't move out of Bi-Level vent.

Will try disconecting battery (to reset Circuit Breakers?) and clean up / check fuses
in the AM.

Any Ideas?

Perfect! 100 degrees tomorrow in Bi-Level vent AC...

Help!!

Maybe its not that....the venting door is vaccum operated so it could be the vaccum line? maybe the multiposition switch is bad?

at least the heat of day will help dry out what got wet (if it isn't too humid during the day like it is where i'm at).

Thanks for the ideas.

It seems strange that a vacuum line or a swich would go bad just at this time.

Trying to relate the problem to the water.

I could be coincidence, however.

Just about to go out and dig around, after I read up in the manuals a bit.

As mentioned... It turned out to be a broken vacuum control line. The 1/8th" hard
plastic type... go figure...
