The 19th annual Huntington Beach Concours d’Elegance (in So Cal) is fast approaching. Here is a brief on the show. Details can be found on the “Events” page of the Saleen Club of America site.
SCOA has worked with the event organizers to offer a “Saleen Automobiles all years” class. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies are available in both street and concourse subclasses.
The show takes place on the grass in Huntington Beach’s beautiful Central Park on June 6th. All proceeds benefit the Huntington Beach Library Children's Resource Center. The weather is great, the food is better than typical and cars are exceptional. Oodles of Porsches (the featured marque), Ferraris, Corvettes, Panteras, American and Euro classics, etc. Go to http://www.hbconcours.org/pages/pictures.htm to see pics from last year.
From the main page http://www.hbconcours.org/ you can download entry forms and find out complete details. Mail in entry by May 26th. Contact me if you cannot get your entry in on time and I'll make it happen.
This is a great opportunity to expose people to Saleens and their twenty-year history. Have a late model S281? Come on over! Got a “vintage” Fox-body? Bring it! Dust off that S7 and get the lead out!
After the show, we will cruise down the road to a pizza/brewery restaurant.
Questions? Email or PM me.
Sorry for the late notice post. Thought I did this a month ago.
