Thanks guys...
Bigs is highly respected in the racing world for their carbs...I haven't fired her up yet so I can't comment on how she performs. All I know is that it better be good because it costed close $1k...
It's got all the goodies you could ever imagine including lots of porting and polishing plus road racing floats. When Bigs sells a carb they custom build it for your application, so I had to give them all my engine specs, transmission type, rear gear, weight, etc... They also run tets every carb before it ships.

Ok now I should get a discount on my next carb for throwing in that sales pitch for Bigs...

I wasn't dissapointed with mine and I have the less expensive version. I am sure it will kick butt.

That is a thing of beauty!

All you have left to do is trim the waterpump gasket and wipe off some of the RTV.

Jesse at Bigs does some awesome carbs. He did a stage 3 dp for me about 2 years ago and it rocks.

I've never messed with it. I simply bolted it on and walked away from it. It was right on the money out of the box. Jesse wet flows everything before it goes out the door.

One of the guys I know from another site had Jesse do a stage 5 for his 610 hp mustang. Steve started "tuning it" and the car got slower no matter what he did. Steve put the carb back to the way it came out of the box and he made his best pass ever.

Really it was a no brainer for me. At the time it was only $100 more than a new dp to get a stage 3. It came in any color I wanted, was disassembled, worked over and tuned for my ride.

Thanks...I'm using an Olympus C750 Ultra Zoom. If I remember correctly it's capable of 4 megapixels...

and ya, those tstat housings suck, but I was able to get mine to seal with that thick GM sealant. That stuff sure works wonders.
