Upper molding on back glass

Has anyone had to replace the upper molding on the back glass? I need it replaced and I'm not sure what is involved in it. Does the glass need to be removed?

Im not sure about the upper molding, but I had problems with the lower molding. I just used a little rubber cement and havent had any issues since.

According to this site you do have to remove the rear window to replace the upper gasket. This pertains to 94 - 04, not sure about other years.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Just need to see how much it will hurt my wallet.

I meant for it to be installed. I'm thinking I might be high. Never had the back glass done before.

oh yeah...i guess that would cost a few bucks. i wonder if it can be repaired? i thought auto glass was installed with an adhesive/caulk that sealed it from the weather. on my back window the lower gasket piece is loose but the glass appears to have the adhesive holding it in place. i was planning on just glueing the rubber piece back to the glass.

Yeah, I don't know. I was hoping some one had done it on there car. I'm sure it will cost a bit to have the glass taken out but I need that molding replaced.
