So it will be about a year till I can repaint my Cobra so I figured I would try some tuch-up paint. I normally dont like that crap but there are so many rock chips and scrapes I couldnt stand it anymore. Downside is they dont make Laser Red tuch up because its a three stage candied paint So I figure Redfire is real close so I tried it. I am very pleased at the results. Let me know what yall think.

Nose Before, cant really see it all but both fog housings are scraped to yellow on bottom and the passenger side housing on the side.

Rear had some chips and scrapes too

Then there was this big chip on the ds fender, I dont know what the previous owner hit

After, can hardley see it anymore

The hood had 300-400 little scratches from rocks, no before only after

And just because I think its the most beautiful non exotic engine ever produced.

I used the Dupont Duplicolor Pen/Brush tuch-up paint in Redfire from Autozone for $6. I think it was well worth the investment.

Looks pretty good man. It might not be perfect, but it's a huge improvement. I was thinking of trying that myself. I'd say it shouldn't be too hard to find matching touch-up paint for my car

i cant tell what you did. i need to see before and after pics at least showing the same area at the same angle. did you seriously paint in COBRA in the rear?

a black sharpie would probably be sufficient

same thing I was thinking, black Sharpie. But no I didnt do it, the first owner did. When I have the car repainted I am gonna do black chrome SS inserts. I have them already I just dont wana screw them up by putting them on now.
The reason for different angles is there was more damage than the before pics I had showed so the new shots were so you could see the whole area I touched up. Its far from perfect but from 5 feet you cant see any of the touchup work. I was just suprise with some of the srapes being almost a full squre inch that the tuch-up paint cover it so well
I like the fact that a guy just 5 min ago walked up and started complimenting the car (I am in a parking lot waiting for someone and have the pc teatherd to my phone) and he didnt even notice the spots till I pointed them out and said some he could not even tell
