thats cool but way too too expensive. I remember in 5.0 magaizine they put a triton V10 in a silver GT, that was pretty cool too

If I were loaded, that's all I'd do with my time, build stuff like that. V12 in a VW Beetle!

or u could just spend 17k on the existing engine to make 600 hp and it'd weigh less

Yeah, but the point is if I were totally rich....I'd do **** like that just to experiment and try something different.

C'mon, it's just somebody's project, obviously someone with taste in wheels and a few other things, but the grille,.. uhg. But overall I love the theme of the car, colors, etc etc. V12 is a little over the top, and the concept is just plain stupid and the owner shouldn't feel proud of it in any way. The key is to loose the damn weight, either build a really good 3 or 4 valve, N/A or boost no biggie, or use a 3.0 24V and build it to 450 hp. Something not just creative, but plausible. 600 hp is laughable, but not to jump the gun here, that thing could have 1000 torque. I give the car a 8/10 for looks, 8/10 engineering/fabrication, 4/10 functionality, overall 5.5/10.

Too see a V12 period just has always bothered me, even with Lamborghini and Ferrari etc etc. What's the point of a small (Usually between 4-5 litres) 12 cylinder, way too many parts that can break. Just plain stupid, unreliable, not cost effective, if somehow reliable, then expensive as hell. Especially when you can build a V6/V8 to 600-800 reliable horsepower on many American, German and Japanese blocks.
The reason I don't mention an I4 is because it's just too limiting, and the few extra pounds is well worth the torque, period.
