The way I read it, it wasn't the octane of the gas he was concerned with but the contaminants. I'm sure the kit will be designed around a 93 octane tune.
yes, the final retail verison will be a lot more tame than the current setup, i'm guessing... 12 psi would not be for the faint of heart! LOL! Although since it's a turbo you can just replace the spring to adjust the amount of boost... So as Jimp pointed out the retail kit will be more more "streetable" than Mike's current setup requiring race fuel! LOL!
It will be based around the same pump fuels that are available everywhere.
It is alot easier for us to overshoot our target pump gas powerlevel with the 104, then reduce the tune/boost to operate with pump fuels.
If we can get the fuel to the motor to support th 12 psi, then getting fuel to the motor to support 6 or 9 psi will not be a problem.
