You shouldn't need to reroute those vacuum line if your removing / bypass those parts just remove the lines and make sure the other need is capped off. your check engine light will probably come on after you do this.

yeah i knew if you just remove them it would throw a CEL, thats fine with me for now. im gonna geta chip to remove that later on. what im wondering do i have to cap the line coming of the back of the intake and the line coming of the EGR/ if you need pics. of what im talking about the ill be glad to post some to clearify?

also what can i do to to make the computer not throw these codes?

if you remove the EGR vaccum like or any vac line for that matter from the back of the intake you nedd to cap it off, or else you will have a vac leak.

you can but some little black caps at the parts store.

as for the codes the correct way to get rid of them is to have them tuned out via a custom chip or other tuning method. the redneck way is to cut the CEL wires to the bulb but i wouldnt suggest doing that.

yeah i capped the line going from the back of the intake to the tab/ tad solenoids ands the line from the front/bottom of the intake to the charcoal canister.

1. what about the line from the egr to the tab/tad solenoids?
2. does that line have to have a source of vaccum or can it be capped?

i read somewhere on here that you can use a resister to keep the CEL light from coming on til you get get a chip to delete that code from the computer.

all this is in effort to rid the engine compartment of all the smog equipment.

thanks guy for your help so far. ive always kept this stuff on with my previous mustangs
