Vacuum advance better for street

bought a carbed 93 fox,

306, stock block
afr 165 unported ,
650 aed, air gap,
msd 8598 dizzy, 6al box,
4.10 , tko 3650.

This car will be 80% street, would I be better off with vacuum advance? and where should my timing be, car stalls anything lower than 16*. to be honest this is my first car with carb and I dont know much about setting them up. thanks for any help
