i was wondering how to go about checking my vacuum lines for leaks? is there something i could buy or any homemade ways any input would help. thanks guys.

while ProSC is right, ill try to give some basic info (im sure he knows a lot more than i do, but here are some basics i know).
visual inspection is good. get a mitivac and you can use it to test various lines. also, you can connect it to the vacuum tree and see what vac you have at idle (~18-20 in).
you can spray carb cleaner on lines, and the idle will change when you find an open line. same for using propane (i havent done that, but others have).
thats some real basic stuff (as mentioned, im sure ProSC has much more in depth info-imagine he played with the stuff more for the forced induction

BTW, some say the carb cleaner and propane are dangerous. i dont mind safety too much, but im still here. good luck.
my uncle told me about the carb cleaner thing but i was seeing if there might a diff. way. the reason i posted this thread is that my car has been running rough at low rpm any wear between 1200-2400 plus i figured some of my vacuum lines are pretty old since there still the stock ones. i was just going to check to see if i had any leaks and if i did fix them.
