We'll i'm (still) trying to find the cause of my surging that seems to clear after letting it run for about 2 minutes after it's originally started...i'm assuming it has something to do with a vacuum leak.....i either changed or cleaned EGR, IAC, Thottle body,TPS sensor, and even carefully cleaned the MAF wires......i'm assuming it's a vacuum line at this point but i'm trying to identify and locate the infamous "vacuum lines" and how many am i looking for/do we have?

easy, plug the vacuum lines at the "tree" where all the vaccum lines branch from. Or plug the lines at their source, at the intake manifold nipples.

you wont have brakes or heater/AC controls EGR etc etc, but it will eliminate all possible vaccum leaks. if it still surges its not a vacuum leak.

aim me if you need any more tips, I'm the sworn enemy of idle surge.
