I have had shop after shop tell me that i have a vacuum leak somewhere hence my "idling problems". Already replaced my IAC with a new one from NAPA and did not level out my idle at all. Bought a new K & N filter...no go. Is there a schematic anywhere on the net that actually will show me what to check to make sure everything is sealed. I am racking my brain over this problem and you guys are the only ones I can trust...What do you think!!!

Have you check any of your vacuum lines? They could be punctured and you don't know it.

I don't want to sound like an idiot, but i don't know where the vacuum lines are located. I have a feeling that is what it might be. It also feels like the car isn't revving up as fast as it should be (power is missing).

Don't worry about sounding like an idiot. That what all the guys are on here for...to learn and give knowledge. To be honest I didn't really know where all of my vacuum lines were until recently. It helps when you start working on your car yourself then you just become familiar with everything. The vacuum lines are about 1/16" in diameter. The are red and green plastic tubes but the problem is that they are covered with loom. One of them comes strait off of your EGR valve. If you find that you can pretty much follow the tube and it will lead to the rest. I'll try to see if I have any pictures I can post and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I actually am faaaaaarrrrrr from any type of expert. I've learned most of the stuff I know from friends and the guys here on stangnet. All the mods I have on my car I've done myself with a few friends. But any question you have to throw at me I'll try to help!

edit: oh and I can only answer an email until about 5pm eastern time. If you write after that you can just pm me.

Hello, I am having a problem figuring out where they run to on the passangers side. Can you send pics to kyle5481@sbcglobal.net? Thanks Kyle.
