I owned 98-142 which was a laser red convertible. The car was in mint condition and it took me about 4 months to sell. Mine had 20k miles on it. Alot of the guys who bought there when I was selling mine I thought they overpaid because they didn't realize how soft the market was. The problem with the cobra was for the same money you could get a new body stlye 99-up i mean factory supercharged for same money. I know the cobra is rare and trust me i loved the car but when i went to sell it no many people really cared for what it really was. The guy in Denamrk who just paid 30k plus in my opnion got killed on the car. He can afford it obviously and wanted it so good for him, but he will not get anywhere near that for resale. Alot of you know I have been in the market for a S351 for about 6 months but these owners just don't realize the cars are depreciating fast. I refuse to pay the prices they want so I will just wait.
