valve cover breather and pcv

does it matter which cover left or right has the pcv valve on..or the breather....have a ram air kit going on a 66 vert..and as you look at the engine the right valve cover i have the breather on and the tube is hitting it....left cover the pcv valve is smaller ..can i swap the pcv valve to the right cover and the breather to the left

Makes no difference, it'll work either way. Actually it's better to have the PCV at the front of the valve cover, just in case the oil collects too much in the rear, due to accelleration. This is the way I have it run on the 5.0 in my 89 Ranger.
