Will a stock 94 valve cover have proper clearance on a set of Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Heads with Trick Flow 1.6 ratio Roller Rockers? I am trying to keep the car looking as "stock" as possible.

I don't know what the sn95 VCs are like, as I have only used the cast Al Fox VCs.

The TrickFlow heads have an elevated VC flange, ~.300" if I remember.

I did have to remove the VC baffle at the oil fill neck, and bond in a new one.

You can also double stack VC gaskets.

I think the VC flange is .385"

and double stacking your gaskets isnt the best idea....

i have TW heads and stud mount 1.6 rr's and my cobra covers didnt fit

if you want to keep it stock looking, go with a set of fox valve covers, i think they are a little taller

Well now I need to know what valve covers will clear then.....at this point I don't even care whether it looks stock or not. I just don't want to have to buy a new hood because of a giant friggin spacer on the intake.

Just about any VC should clear the 1.6s, but you may have to remove and replace the baffle.

The stock VCs from a fox will work this way, I am using them.

Got a set of Fox covers with no baffle from the Stang performance shop I found here in town. They knew what I was talking about as soon as I said what the problem was and they actually gave me a set of covers that were painted and everything for next to nothing. Thanks again for the input fellas.

Gotta remove the baffle for the stock covers like said before. I use the trickflow 3/8th in spacer on my trickflow intake and have the stock hood. Also have the same setup for heads. I used trickflow valve covers though.
