Every aftermarket valve cover I see says it requires a 1" spacer for EFI motors. I have a Cobra intake and 3/8" spacer because I want to keep everything under the stock hood. Will the FRPP cast aluminum covers fit this? I need the valve covers for clearance of 1.7 rockers.

Thanks.

are they like these? Mine worked fine with the stock intake. A spacer would be nice with the explorer intake, but not needed.

Trick flow makes a valve cover that I believe will fit under the stock intake and will clear 1.7 rr's.

Like said before, the stock valve covers will clear 1.7 rockers without the baffle, id maybe also put another gasket just incase. Youll probably need that filter you see my car has from the hose to the throttle body, without the baffle oil will get sucked in there.
