Valvecover clearence

I have a tfs intake manifold with motorsports valve covers and my egr valve is hitting the valve cover i had this problem with a gt 40 intake and the 1 spacer was enough for it to clear after grinding a couple inchs off the egrhowever i tried raising the intake up an inch and the the throttle body hit any ideas do i need a 1 spacer for the intake and the throttle body?

if you use comp pro magnum rockers, then you can use stock height valve covers

I have a set of those covers on the shelf waiting to go on. I will be running a fox tb setup and a 1 inch spacer with a gt40 tube intake. I am hoping they fit the only thing I am worried about is hitting the alternator.

Same valve covers i think im going to have to modify my egr valve by taking a inch and a half off of it thats the only way it will clear with a one inch spacer...Anyone had to do this before?

Also i have scorpion 1.6 stud mounted rockers so stock valve covers are out of the question...
