Thats what Im scared of by getting a vert,,people cutting the top and stealing stuff. Do they have any special alarms to prevent this..also do the insurance company pay you a new top if you have full coverage? Thanks

bsedwebt70-5.0 said:insurance will pay for new top and install if it is cut getting broken in to - they will depreciate it based on age/wear etc... if necessary as they owe for what was there - I am an insurance adjuster in VA who has had to do this several times over the years - not too often as you would think - unless you have enemies you will probably be ok - it is lots easier to bust the glass from what I have seen - we pay for the glass if busted too - always bolt down your stuff - insurance does not cover items that are not permanantly attached to the car - velcro and double sided tape does not count
