Well I just installed a newly rebuilt t-5 transmission tonight and took it out. The transmission functions flawlessly but now there is a vibration. Here are somethings that I did.

I did not replace the throw out bearing
I did install poly engine and tranny mounts (the tranny mount is taller than the stocker)
I do have a rebuild trac lock posi

Any ideas?

I think I'd go back to the stock trans mount. That poly stuff transmits EVERYTHING to the interior.

make sure your trans isnt hitting the tunnel and try flipping the driveshaft 180* for the hell of it.

If the tranny is hitting the tunnel do you think I'm just feeling all the engine vibration and everything? I'm going to switch back to the stocker tomorrow as that is the easiest "quick fix" and see if that is the problem. I really like that poly mount though

Yeah, I have a bad feeling that the tranny is touching. I didn't have a vibration like this with the old mount. I wonder why they make the poly one taller?
