Victor 5.0 Intake w/ stock hood?

Anyone? Someone has to know the answer.

HOOD CLEARANCE: The Victor 5.0 #2945 has been optimized for competition level applications and will not fit under stock '94-
95 Mustang hoods without modification (all years should check clearance). The simplest level of modification is to trim away the
underhood blanket near the interference point at the front of the plenum. If more clearance is required, the upper plenum flange may
be machined 0.200" where it bolts to the lower manifold. Trim the long manifold bolts accordingly. Aftermarket raised hoods are the
best solution to the problem.

If this is the intake you are asking about.

Thanks for the reply back, and yes that is the one i'm talking about. Says that it wont fit under the stock hood of the 94-95, but goes on to say to check clearance on others. So I guess the question is, has anyone installed this intake under a stock hood on a 87-93 gt/vert and had no clearance problems, or if so what did you do to fix the problem. Although I would love to get a new hood soon, I really dont feel like paying for paint work at the moment. Thanks again.
