It actually does sound good considering it's the 'Packs and an offroad pipe. A catted X with my 'Packs is plenty loud for me.

My LT's actually quieted my car down quite a bit inside the car. At WOT it is still about the same. I have Bassani catback with an o/r x.

Sounds very nice. How loud is it in the cabin while you are on the highway.
I am still trying to decide which exhaust system/combo to get for my 2001 GT convertible. Want something that sounds very deep and throaty but don't want something that drowns out the stereo when I am driving.

I almost have 30k miles on my setup. Plus I have an auto with 410s so if you have a five speed you can put it in fifth.

Thanks very much for posting those. Sounds exactly like what I want.
Did you use a full catback system or just weld in the mufflers and x-pipe.
Also, is it smog legal? Don't need the headache when it comes time to smog the car.

And yes, I have the 5 speed with stock gears currently but thinking about going to 3.90s or 4.10s but I am not sure which would be better.

Thanks again for the input.

Mike

Well I bought a full magnaflow magnapack catback system and my pypes o/r x-pipe from americanmuscle.com and you will need to buy mil elminators which will stop the check engine light from coming on and 02 wire extension so you can reach up to the trans.

Sounds good man!

On acceleration sounds pretty similar to my Magnaflow Catback w/ Magnaflow O/R X.
