I know that VIN decoders have been mentioned here in the past, but I found this page (while trying to find info on the production numbers of a "Porno Red" interior).

Not only could I look at the VIN, but I found out that my car has 2.73's not 3.08's (like I had previously assumed)

Well, I guess that explains why I don't even top out 3rd in the 1/4 mile.

Wow, I didn't know our cars came with Mazda transmissions..... It says M50D on there......

you know the weird thing i have found out just now. my car came with 3.27's. so far everymustang i have ever owned has came with 3.27's although i dont know why, but i always hear of everybody saying they had 3.08's or 2.73's. this is not just me guessing, when i have done gear swaps to all my previous cars they were indeed 3.27's.

I've got a couple of codes that aren't listed there. My interior is 6J, my radio is 5, and what does it mean when your body is GT2?

Sweet, my car has 3.08s... always assumed it has 2.73s... I still need 3.73s though, lol.

If you read at the bottom, the guy says that his info isn't complete yet and he is looking for more and appreciated emails with info.

My interior isn't listed, which is a 2F (red cloth interior).

I thought it was a good effort on his part.
