Soooo, would you put a vinyl top on a coupe that did not origionaly have one?
I say a picture of a silver/green 66 with green and white interior. The top was white.
I think the vinyl will look OK if the rest of the car is done to suit. I heard once, and I don't know if is true, that if a car come down the production line with some roof imperfections, they stuck a vinyl roof on it to hide them a bit. Might be a bit of a headache to keep clean??
i have a vinyl top on my 68 coupe and will probably be taking it off when i re paint my car. the reason that i dont like it is, to make it shine you have to put some armor all type stuff on it, and eventually, whether you drive in the rain or not that stuff runs down on your windows and is a pain to try and get off. your window are always smeared...
