I think you may have partaken of the old proverb about biting off more than you can chew. 0-100 and back to zero in 12 sec's....you are gonna get unless you've got FI on that GT. Then again, what's the worst that can happen ? In a day and age with 400+ hp Cady's and SUV's Mustangs getting out run is becoming more common anayway...

I used to own an 01' ACR. Blown cobras never stood a chance. let alone a balls out n/a 2v. If its a 94 with 100,000 miles you will probably still lose.

you mean those 400hp caddy's that run 13.5's. I think GoneMad has that covered. Hell i think I could run one. Off topic. If you bolt up some slicks, and he runs street tires. It could be real close.

i dont have slicks but i do have some nittos! 3200 stall and a bunch of other goodies i couldnt fit in the sig lol

What is your 1/4 time and trap speed?
Without the spray...I don't think you'd beat a SRT-4, much less a Viper. Good luck though.

With all your "goodies" the Viper is still making more power from the factory. The earliest viper I think makes around 400hp.

First, congrats on :Track: We don't need anymore newspaper articles on street racing..

Second, with your heads + cams + a 150 shot + traction and it's an older viper, it will be very close I think.

If it's a newer viper, you'll have to bank on him spinning from the line and not being able to catch up... but that is unlikely.

Interested to see how this turns out.

well for the price difference i think your pretty well off you could take the 20grand you saved and smoke any viper you wanted too, so yeah he may have 500hp stock but he also had to have 50,000 grand to get that 500 hp, i bought my 99 cobra wrecked had a blower on it and it makes 500RWHP and ive got about 12000 in it

If you have little drag experience, he's gonna wax you. If you know your car well on the strip, and you hit the N20, I think you could win. It's hard to tame 450hp at the track on street tires fellas; lets face it.

I am sorry but unless you run the NOS I dont think you will win, I dont even think it will be close... At the same time you really have nothing to lose, winning equals insane bragging rights, and if you lose... No one can really say anything because you should lose to a 400+ horsepower V10.
