Voltage Regulater Wiring

i just bought my first Mustang..its a 1969 302 Coup. The car runs fine but the voltage reg is not totally connected, Only one wire is connected im not sure where the other wires are suppossed to be connected, the are 3 other places where the other wires can be connected, but i do not know the order. Does anyone know where i can get this info>>>

Are you sure the previous owner didn't upgrade to a 1 wire alternator? I only ask because you said the car runs fine. If nobody here can answer your question, try the folks over at http://www.1969stang.com/main/. Mainly 69/70 Stangs over there.

I thought ther same...but i found soem extra wires coming from Alternator...and i notive that all the lights are very dim...and eventually it runs the batterary down. And with a voltage tester i determined that the Alt wasnt charging the battery with enough juce. Thanks for the info ill ck the Link out. I also have soem more questions, but ill save those for a later time.

I - The schematic I have for a '69 shows no connection, which is confirmed on the picture of Cupids stock setup.

A - The schematic I have shows Green/Black from the Bat/sol. You have a Yellow wire.

S - Green/Red from Ignition Switch.

F - Orange wire to the Alternator Field.

Hey Thanks guys for the help..i replaced the wires and connectors..and it is working great!!!!!! This site is great!! i cant wait to get more involved, il have to get some pics up 2
